H.E. Dr. Nasir Ahmad Andisha, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to the UN in Geneva, said that the situation in Afghanistan is a product of strategic rivalries and questioned the measures, or lack thereof, taken by the UNHRC to assuage the situation in Afghanistan.
