EFSAS Interview with Mr. Taha Siddiqui (Award-winning Pakistani Journalist) on Freedom of Expression

In an exclusive interview, part of the series 'Plain Talk; South Asia', Mr. Junaid Qureshi, Director EFSAS, interviewed the award-wining Pakistani journalist Taha Siddiqui. Mr. Siddiqui has worked as a journalist for France24, The Guardian, NY Times and other international news outlets. Recently, he published his latest graphic novel, titled ‘The Dissident Club’. In this interview, Mr. Siddiqui, delved into his career as a journalist in Pakistan and described in-depth the intimidations and harassments he had to endure for expressing his views and for openly criticizing the military regime and governance of the country, because of which he eventually had to flee as his life was in danger because of his work.
