EFSAS Interview with Mr. Tim Foxley (EFSAS Research Fellow and Former SIPRI & RUSI) on Afghanistan & Geopolitics in South Asia

On the newest episode of ‘Plain Talk: South Asia’, EFSAS Director Junaid Qureshi had the opportunity to interview Mr. Timothy Foxley. Mr. Foxley is one of EFSAS’ Research Fellows as well as an independent consultant specialising in political/military analysis and research. He worked for the British government as a Defence Analyst from 1992 to 2014. He has studied Afghanistan, the region, and associated conflict themes, since 2001, much of this time at the UK Ministry of Defence as a Senior Analyst, where he received the MBE in 2005 for his Afghan work. He has also worked for the Swedish Ministry of Defence and at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). In this Interview, Mr. Foxley focused on the regional and global impacts of the situation in Afghanistan.
